Zappos Game Night!

Hey Scholars!
Last week was a pretty hectic one, but we all hope that most of you were able to stop by Zappos' awesomely fun game night on Tuesday!

As always, there were a lot of games set up for attendees to play. With a Kindle Fire on the line, everyone brought their A-game!

This time, Zappos even brought Legos and held a mini-competition (with a pretty large prize) to see who could build the best Lego creation!

Of course, throughout the night, attendees got the chance to talk to Zappos recruiters to learn more about the company and what they offered:

The Zappos team was so awesome! They were full of spirit and lots of fun throughout the event!

Thanks so much to Zappos for stopping by! We all had a blast and we can't wait to see you all soon!

First Annual North Campus Tie-Dye(ag)!

CSE Scholars hopes everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend...we sure did!
This past weekend, CSE Scholars decided to offer students a chance to dye something other than just eggs -- shirts!

We held a tie-dyeing event, now dubbed the North Campus Tie-Dye(ag) (since it was held on the North Campus diag), where many students came out and brought their CSE Scholars T-shirts for a chance to personalize them in some very colorful ways.

We were very lucky that it was a beautiful day, and members gathered near the North Campus Bell Tower to decorate their T-shirts.

It was so nice out that some students even took naps!

In the end, everyone who attended left with a unique shirt that symbolized their own personality as well as their appreciation of CSE Scholars.

The event was a success! In fact, those who weren't able to attend requested that this event be repeated every year as a social event that would allow the members to get to know each other while exploring their artistic sides, something many engineering majors don't get to tap into too often.

Hopefully, if we do repeat this event, it'll be as much fun as it was this time!
